Get to Know Dr. James Barsetti
Dr. Barsetti grew up around dentistry—his dad was a pediatric dentist! From before he can remember, he always liked the idea of helping people while working with his hands. Now as a dentist himself, he has the joy of meeting new patients as well as catching up with returning ones. He’s eager to welcome you into ODCC and let his lifelong passion for dental care give you the smile you’ve always wanted.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Barsetti completed both his undergraduate and dental education at Creighton University, going on to do his residency at Loyola University Medical Center. Even though he is out of school, he says that he’s always eager to learn and improve to better serve his patients. That’s why he dedicates several hours to continuing education and maintains membership in the American Dental Association, Kansas Dental Association, and the Abstract Study Club.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Born in West Des Moines, IA, Dr. Barsetti developed a knack for baking and cooking, leading to him winning a Blue Ribbon for his peanut blossom cookies at the Iowa State Fair! He went on to spend many of his formative years in Omaha, NE, before finally making his way to Olathe, which he is proud to call home. When he isn’t making something delicious in the kitchen, he likes to watch sports and spend quality time with friends and family.
