Get to Know Dr. Ashley Stevenson
Dr. Stevenson's passion for dentistry began at a young age. After spending time in the dental chair, she became fascinated by the science behind relieving tooth pain and restoring healthy, confident smiles. She is understanding that for some, coming to the Dentist is not always the easiest, and most have dental anxiety. That's why she does everything she can to answer questions, explains treatment thoroughly, and offers options so patients are comfortable and have peace of mind at every visit.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Stevenson started her dental career by working as an orthodontic assistant for seven years, giving her invaluable hands-on experience. She eventually graduated from the UMKC School of Dentistry with her DDS, and she now has certifications in dental implants and Botox.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Dr. Stevenson and her husband (who is an orthodontist also practicing in Kansas) have two delightful Shih-poo dogs named Oscar and Vinny. Her hobbies include spending time with family and friends, working out, attending any sports event (especially the Chiefs), and traveling the world.
Fun Facts: Dr. Stevenson is from the same hometown as Mark Twain (Hannibal, MO), and she has an older set of twin sisters as well as a younger set of twin siblings!
